Robin is a Professional Member of USA Gymnastics where she spent 10 years as a National Safety Instructor and 5 years as a MELPD & KAT instructor (Movement Education Lesson Plan Development & Kinder Accreditation Teacher)

Tedi Tedi Prussman - "Miss Tedi"
Team Coach

  • Graduated from Missouri Western State University
    • Bachelors in Elementary Education
  • Recieved her Masters Degree from Arkansas State University
  • Elementary Teacher for Stewartsville
  • Married to Toby Prussman
  • Mother to Paxton Renee who is 8 years old
Tedi has been a part of Arising Stars since 1992 capturing eight State Championships as a gymnast and coaching current State Champions since 2004.  Tedi is a Professional Member of USA Gymnastics and is Safety Certified.

Kiana Kiana Bennett - "Miss Kiana"
Coach/ Instructor

  • Graduate of Northwest Missouri State University
    • Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education 
    • Double minor in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education 
  • First grade teacher at Eugene Field Elementary School in Maryville.
Kiana was a competitive gymnast at Arising Stars for 5 years and started coaching at Arising Stars in 2019.  She currently coaches our recreation classes and our Xcel Competition Team.  Kiana is a Professional Member of USA Gymnastics and is Safety Certified.
"My favorite part of coaching is watching a child get a brand new skill and becoming just as (or more) excited as they are."

Summer Summer Beaty - "Miss Summer"
Coach/ Instructor

  • Junior at Northwest Missouri State University
    • Majoring in Middle School Math Education
Summer was a competitive gymnast for 11 years reaching Level 10. She coached for three years prior to joining the Arising Stars staff in 2019. Currently, she coaches our recreation classes and our Xcel Competition Team.

Emma Emma Klein - "Miss Emma"
Instructor

  • Junior at East Buchanan High School
  • Participates in track and field, cheer, and volleyball
Emma was a competitive gymnast for Arising Stars for 9 years, reaching Level 9. She has been coaching at Arsing Stars for 3 years.  Currently, she coaches our youth recreation classes and assists the competitive team.

AJ Schussler - "Miss AJ"
Instructor

  • Sophomore at Savannah High School
    • Involved in volleyball
AJ started gymnastics at Arising Stars when she was 4 years old.  She was a competitive gymnast for 9 years reaching level 9.  AJ started coaching at Arising Stars in 2018.  Her favorite events are bars and beam.

Mackenzie Mackenzie Finney - "Miss Mackenzie"
Instructor

  • Sophomore at Missouri Western State University 
    • Majoring in Nursing
Mackenzie cheered for 6 years, then did both tumbling and gymnastics for 3 years.  She joined Arising Stars in March of 2020.  Currently, she coaches our Tiny Star, Tumbling, and Youth recreation classes.

Taylor Taylor Ruff - "Miss Taylor"
Instructor

  • Licensed Cosmetologist
  • Manages a Salon in Platte City
  • Married and has a 8 month year old son
Taylor began tumbling when she was 5 years old.  Then started gymnastics at age 11 and cheerleading at age 12.  She began coaching when she was 14 years old.  Taylor joined the Arising Stars staff in the summer of 2020.  Currently, she coaches our Tiny Stars and Youth Recreation classes.

Bailee Bailee Romaker - "Miss Bailee"
Instructor

  • Senior at Missouri Western State University
    • Majoring in Wildlife Conservation
Bailee was a competitive gymnast for 6 years.  She joined the Arising Stars staff in the fall of 2020.  Currently, she coaches our Tiny Stars and Youth Recreation classes.

Michelle Michelle Gann - "Miss Michelle"
Instructor

  • University of Tijuana
    • Science of Communication for 2 years
  • Diploma for an interpreter from JVS School of Kansas City
Michelle has 10 years of gymnastics experience.  She joined the Arising Stars staff in the fall of 2020.  Currently, she teaches our Tiny Stars and Youth Receration classes.

Miranda Miranda Wright - "Miss Miranda"
Instructor

  • Freshman at Savannah High School
Miranda started gymnastics at Arising Stars when she was 2 years old.  She went on to compete for 10 years reaching level 8.  Her favorite event is beam.
